Jan.31 – Feb. 2 — Las Vegas, Nevada

From Carolyn and Buck:

We are again on the other side of a Successful Legacy of Legends Event that we presented at South Point Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada in February 2013.

The response from auditors, presenters, sponsors and vendors was positive and rewarding. Our Sponsors generously enabled us to provide a comfortable, safe and fun facility to showcase our Horsemen/horsewomen  in diverse disciplines , all using the Ray Hunt Tom Dorrance methods.  Vendors presented fun shopping in quality tack , apparel and access to businesses that have served equine needs in a professional, ethical manner for years. The contributions for the Silent Auction from individuals raised over $5000. For our Scholarship fund.  A special thanks to all that donated.

About A Legacy of Legends

Clinics will be organized and presented featuring students that exemplify the spirit and ability to communicate a level of horsemanship introduced and taught by Tom and Ray. The Foundation’s goal is to generate funding for scholarships to deserving students in pursuit of a higher level of consciousness in conjunction with the horse. These clinics will be organized and promoted in the spirit of harmony between horse and rider with emphasis on preserving the dignity and wellbeing of the horse while encouraging the rider to achieve a higher level of horsemanship. The clinics will be presented to the public in a teaching format to continue to generate information and experience to those individuals who have embarked on this style of Horsemanship.

Scholarships will be granted to individuals based on their interests and level of ability. An impartial committee will select the individuals to receive scholarships, endeavoring to place them with teachers who share their interests.
